While people may know about Occupy Wall Street and its many attendant sister protests, many people in Australia probably don't know about the Penn State protest.
So, if you'd like, read this and then tell me that the violence used against Occupy protestors in the States is justified. Violent, arson-laden rioting in defence of an enabler of child molestation vs non-violent protest against a corrupt, oligarchic corporate democracy. Which one got the bigger crackdown?
There is something very, very wrong with western democracy at the moment.
