I always enjoy pointing out when our local protests get noticed overseas. I enjoy pointing it out because it flies the bird at arseholes like the Angry Oompa-Loompa, who have not-so-secret power fantasies of locking all lefties in a fascist gulag. So read this fun story about the recent Occupy Congress protest, their action in front of the US Supreme Court (and if you don't know what Citizens United is, you may wish to perform some additional Googling). Most of all, enjoy the mental image of the one protestor who turned up in an OMEL-inspired Tent Monster costume.

Update: There are some very petulant people out there who see the tent monster costume as an embarassing, destructive, nail in the coffin of the Occupy movement. Hmm... yeah... no... wait... get fucked.
